Russland, Alexander III., Silbermedaille (20,91 g, 38,4 mm), 1894, auf die bilateralen zehnjährigen Handelsverträge zwischen dem Russischen Zaren- und dem Deutschen Kaiserreich. Av.: Gestaffelte Büsten Alexanders III. und Wilhelms II. nach rechts und in doppelter Umschrift Namen und Titulaturen auf Russisch und Deutsch. Rev.: Zweisprachige Inschrift und Datierung. März 1894 wurde unter beidseitigen parteipolitischen Widerständen der deutsch-russische Handelsvertrag angenommen, der sich besonders für den Handel mit russischen Agrarprodukten und deutschen Industriewaren rentierte, Deutschland aber auch zunehmend abhängiger von Getreideimporten machte; Russland konnte die Ausfuhreinnahmen um das zweieinhalbfache steigern. Ein Folgevertrag kam am 15. Juli 1904 erst nach längeren Verhandlungen zustande.
