Description

Taranto, didrachm (6, 65 g), approximate 272-240 BC Av: warriors on horseback to the right. Rev: on a dolphin seated tare with trident and Katharos left, left nymph head left. SNG ANS 1197 ff, very fine to extremly fine. From a Rhine private collection. Acquired in the 1980 / 90s in the Rhine coin trade.
